Forensic Anthropology Foundation of Guatemala (FAFG)

Forensic Anthropology Foundation of Guatemala (FAFG), applies forensic sciences to investigate, search, exhume, and identify the victims of Guatemala’s Internal Armed Conflict. Their work includes supporting prosecutors in their investigations, documenting life stories, and facilitating educational spaces, nationally and internationally, about what happened in Guatemala. 

Asia Justice and Rights (AJAR)

Asia Justice and Rights (AJAR),  is a non-profit organisation based in Jakarta, that focuses on strengthening human rights in Asia and the Pacific. Its mission is to build cultures based on accountability and justice, and to prevent the recurrence of state-sanctioned human rights violations. Combating impunity and building strong mechanisms to achieve accountability and respect for victims are essential elements in the quest for peace and prosperity.

The Syria Justice and Accountability Centre (SJAC)

The Syria Justice and Accountability Centre (SJAC)  is a Syrian human rights organisation working for meaningful justice and accountability for Syria that holds perpetrators accountable and addresses grievances, leading to lasting peace. SJAC collects documentation of violations from all available sources, stores it in a secure database, catalogues it according to human rights standards, and analyses it using legal expertise and big data methodologies. Originally imagined as a central repository for documentation, SJAC has grown into a dynamic organisation that is not only documenting the conflict, but engaging with justice mechanisms and policymakers, developing new technologies for human rights, searching for missing persons, and building the capacity of human rights defenders in Syria and around the globe.

The Global Initiative for Justice, Truth and Reconciliation (GIJTR)

The Global Initiative for Justice, Truth and Reconciliation (GIJTR) brings together advocates, activists and practitioners from global organisations with expertise in a range of fields from psycho-social support and documentation to forensics and law. Together they assist communities in or emerging from conflict in creating just and peaceful futures. Founded in 2014, the GIJTR has worked with partners in 76 countries, fostered over 463 grassroots projects and engaged more than 760 local civil society organisations in building capacities and laying the groundwork for community-wide participation in transitional justice processes.
